I did some work on my interior earlier this year as I thought it had too many different colours as standard and looked messy. Here's how it ended up:

So... just guessing here... you started with a balck interior that had transplanted tan seats. You liked the seat color, so changed the dash, console, door cards to make it work. Then swapped/converted the seats for sport seats and along the way picked up 10 spkr stereo, a wheel and some other small goodies.
Yea and that was a lot of work to backdate your turbo to the NA bumpers too ;]....Bruce

No the seats were stock actually (I have the window sticker), full leather front and back as well. The deviating carpet, seats & carpet different colors, was a special order thing I think. Guilty as charged on all other counts. And the best goodies are still the K27/6 and the M-Tune
As for the NA bumpers, you don't think I'd actually let her lay on MY car do you?

Rob Budd at Classic 9 Leather did the leather work on the dash and console. Great guy, great work.
(This to me seems like the trickiest procedure. I am sure it is doable with sufficient time and patience, but I worry about breaking a piece or ending up with rattles due to inexperience.)

I had squirreled away a spare dash with some vague hope of repairing the cracks on it when Rob started offering his recovering service so it was that dash that I sent off for repair/recover.
Pulling the old dash and replacing it with the spiffy new one wasn't too painful, just tedious. Lots of fasteners to keep track of. Take pictures, label things in baggies and if you have to pull hard on something, walk away. Do that and you'll be fine. Clark's Garage has a good procedure to follow.

Looks great, Greg! Really makes me want black carpet. I think it sets off the split interior a bit more than light carpet (and it's a lot easier to keep looking clean!)
What pedal covers are those? Where do they come from?

I really like those cluster rings and the silver on the *****. Just out of curiosity, why did you go with a tip steering wheel? Are you able to use the buttons for the stereo, by chance?

Not that I recall. The car came out of the Bay area so it was in a fairly mild climate most of its life.
