I posted the tag picture twice by accident. Both of my cars have 51 as the engine type on the tag, but both are 247 HP. Both were running K26/8 Turbos (one now has a K27/8). My guess is that in 1988 code M758 is the option that gives you the 247 hp motor being a special model (turbo S) I'm curious if any 1988 Turbo S have code 52 on there data sheet. I could see that 52 would be standard in 1989 when all were 247 hp. Anyway, my guess is as good as anyones why both my cars have 51 listed under "engine type".

Silver Rose, as what all the turbo S started out to be.....
was it not till they , the Silber Rossas were run thru, that the colored cars began to be made ? And were not the colored cars also called Turbo S but did not have the 758 designation ? And the later cars came with the 52 number engine ?
As all the 89 cars were engine numbered 52 , but without the 758 number and S moniker attached ?
