Sorry to revive an old thread, but that factory solution looks like the ultimate fix for this issue. You have seen this car, or maybe its yours? It looks like they fabricated a custom crossmember? I wonder was there much modification of the rear castor block mount to move it like that? Also maybe the wishbone itself is a special part, longer than stock? If you had any info I would be very grateful.

@mikey_audiogeek did this project ever complete or did it go back to the idea shelf?
i've got a similar quest in mind but with different parts...and the measurements are suspiciously close enough to maybe just work.
