I believe it was made by a company call Matter ( they are no longer made )
They are pretty hard to find from what I understand ...

Not sure why anyone would go through the hassle of fitting a bolted cage instead of properly welding one...

The original Matter cup cage is no longer approved. Especially not the early aluminium ones.

How bad do you really want one?

Matter (German Co.) has been out of business for maybe a decade now. I have only seen a handful of Matter cages that were not in an original Cup/Clubsport car. They are very rare in North America.

The cage in the ad linked by Crazy Eddie was sold quite awhile ago. As of a year ago, Freisinger Motorsports in Germany had a used Matter Cup cage for 2500 Euro plus 20% VAT and plus shipping and import duties. Probably would cost about $5k to have it sitting in your garage.

Could buy this one, comes w/ a car....

I live 10 minutes from Hanksvilles Hotrods, he did the custom rollbar in my 948. I highly recommend him!

I looked at it a couple weeks ago, not really worth what they're asking.
