I'm new to this forum and new to my 944. Unfortunately after driving it for about 6 hours it no longer starts.
I was driving towards the highway and when I went to switch gears I was unable to. It sat me in neutral until I rolled to a stop. When I tried to restart the car it would turn over for a split second (if I tried to apply gas I would get no RPM's at all) but would immediately show me the exclamation mark of doom with fluids warning lit up and reading "Brake Fluid."
I topped up the brake fluid, oil and gas (just in case) and i'm still getting the same error. Any ideas?

There are a lot of no start basics on here if you search a little.
However, is the tach bouncing? If not wiggle the SR sensors. They are in the back of the intake
You may need a DME relay. You can make a three wire jumper. Take a look at Clark's-garage.com
If it is bouncing you need to check spark. You can use a screwdriver stuck into one of the spark plug wires and set it with a small gap away from a piece of metal. I use the fuel rail (do at ur own risk)
I would then check for fuel and compression.
