I was lucky this week.
I showed up to work, and sitting on my desk was an -044 fuel pump!!
Now I need to come up with the fitting that places like Lindsey is using. Most of them want a lot of money for what seems to be a standard fitting. Does anyone have a clue where to get this fitting?
I also saw that it is recommend to run bigger wiring due to the 15 amp draw of the -044 pump.
15 amps/12 Volts is 180 watts.
Wire sizing charts indicate that 14AWG can be used for 6 feet, 12AWG is good for 8.5 feet, and 10AWG is good for 13 feet.
Is it recommended to run 10AWG or just run stock wiring and supplemental wiring to a relay placed near the pump and run a fused/supplemental wires to the relay?

Pegasus Auto Racing I bought some parts for altering the hardware on my system.
I ran a -8An line from the HV pump to the fuel rail. Other harware came from Jegs, Canton and LR.
Bigger Line less load on the pump.
Hope that helps you somewhat

One thing to keep in-mind is that running a dedicated relay & wiring for the pump should both help the pump reach its full potential (less voltage/current drop), and it will also minimize the load on the DME relay.
