I called Fastnal and they have the timserts, so I will bring an intake bolt in to get what I need.
as far as drilling is there some sort of guide that I can hold and will keep me true, similar to the following.

I was hoping to do this weekend and did not know if anything like this locally.
Thanks

Something like this might be better (but I have not used it myself): http://www.sears.com/craftsman-drill...p-00967173000P
The question is, is there room for any of these around the bolt nearest the firewall? When you get the intake off you'll be able to tell.
If not, it can be done by hand/eye - ideally you should have some kind of visual guide - try to fix a square to the block surface and then keep the bit parallel to that.
If you are unsure of getting it right, and can't get anyone more experienced to help, then practice on some scrap a few times until you're more confident. Do that even if you are going to use the jig. It doesn't take long to get the hang of it. Drill slowly - don't rush it.
