Some people use the test port. I think it is on the beginning of the crossover, that or on the header itself.

Search under username 'Laust'. You should find quite a few threads regarding his kit and some overall ideas.

I have wondered on the effect that only having one probe will provide. Not sure exactly what you'd do with the information gathered by one probe. Having said that I was told that running off egts is very 'iffy'. Probes can be very sensitive and location crucial.

I have one of Laust EGT kits kicking around that I doubt I'll get around to using. I'll dig around for it if anyone is interested.

ideally you want 4 egt sensors mounted as close the exhaust ports on the cylinder head on the runners. this will totally get in the way of the heater tube which you will have to modify to fit .. otherwise. #4 on the exhuast runner closest to the exhaust port is your best location. #4 is the hottest hole, #2 gets the most air flow from the intake manifold design, so its actually the leanest hole, but #4 has hotter temps due to the design of the coolant passages in the block/head.

Scott:

Not sure why but I can't get my phone to PM you. Works fine for others. I sent you the money all ready. I am not sure if I had address setup correctly though on my IPhone app. Let me send you correct address later.

Got it, and sounds good. If you still can't PM me then send it in an email to the same address as I used for PayPal.
