Do it! PA951 has the right idea. Ditch the rubber strip altogether.

They must be selling them super cheap for you guys to be able to buy one including shipping for $300!! Perhaps you guys don't get slaughtered with shipping costs like we do and then often raped once they've landed.

In my opinion (shared by all but one in this thread Curt! ) this cosmetic upgrade is a no brainer. That's the one thing that holds back the US cars. Those ridiculously ugly rear bench seats...I mean bumpers. Do it!

I have always preferred the euro bumpers we get on the local cars here, and the red and orange side markers look odd to me too, kinda like they were an after thought (not trying to offend anyone just my opinion)

I always thought they looked like Jay Leno's chin.

I don't mind the rub strip, it works with the rear spoiler and the bottom of the sills and provides at least the hint of protection against shopping cart dings, which is more than I can say for the bumper as a whole...
