Default FRF Headers and exhaust = MORE POWER

I just finished my first logging session since the full install.

I am now completely out of injector at 18psi. My wideband is reading 12.4 AFR vs 11.2 before. I am flowing 15-20% more air measured at the MAF. It hit 4.6volts easily whereas before was hitting 4.2 at this pressure.

I now have to make a fueling adjustment. I also have to keep teh boost down until this is done.

Thank you again Dave for such a great product. They also sound AWESOME..They have a boxer 4 sound until higher RPMS where it just sings....

This was a great modification. The header fitment is perfect and so is the exhaust...

To put it in perspective from my 1/4 mile runs

4.2 volts makes for 124+ mph
4.0-4.1 makes 121.

I'm not sure what 4.6 will do, but it is certainly faster!!!!

I highly recomend these to anyone looking to make over 300 rwhp..

Again...A HUGE THANK YOU to Dave

Looks sick and I want one! Would like to know though, when you got a chance to test, if it improved your 1/8 time- if you low end tq is affected.

I did expect and actually wanted my low end torque to drop a little due to too much tirespin. It didn't seem to drop off at all. However, I had quite a few exhaust leaks pre turbo that slowed the spool before so Apples to apples is not a fair comparison.

I am spooling my turbo right about 3500 for 1 bar and this is a very big wheel (72# per min)

That is just what I wanted to know, can't wait to see the results on the track as well as hear those beast.

What muffler and resonator if any did you use and what size exhaust did you go with?

No resonator yet. I will this winter. it is 3" to the bend and 3.5 from there back with the same Borla 3.5" muffler I've used for years

You upgraded the header/up pipe, Down pipe, exhaust all at the same time?

It really doesn't feel too different but agian I had exhaust leaks before. I was missing about a third of my flange gasket. As I'm sure you know that witha bigger engine you just don't really need all that power down low.

Rod, after thinking about it a minute I'd say they feel more linear, but on a whole different level at high rpms.

We are adding another injector tomorrow night so we shoudl have plenty of fuel. I'm becoming a little scared as to where to draw the line power wise.
