Default Fuel Pressure Regulator (FPR) Pressure?

I think I know the answer to this, but, maybe I am understanding wrong.

Are the Bosch FPR rising rate regulators?

Lets take the Bosch 3,0bar FPR and a stock fuel pump. If we assume 1 bar of boost, does the Bosch 3,0 bar rise to 4,0 bar at 1 bar of boost?

If the stock pump, is only good to 3 bar, how would a rising rate FPR work? So assuming that we used a 5.0bar pump, then we could technically, run 2 bar of boost with a rising rate FPR, is this correct? After 2.0bar boost, we will start losing fuel flow?

Or maybe I am just plain crazy and we don't have rising rate FPR?

They are a RRFPR. The stock pump can be run well over 3 bar. I've done it.

You still need a bigger pump.
