sources for .73 5 gear?
I have to tear down my 88 turbo S trans and would like more overdrive. Any ideas?

0.730 5th from an 944 N/A trans. You will find many takers that will do an even trade w/ you for your short 0.829 turbo 5th.

There is also an Audi 5th gear that's 0.68, that'll drop you another couple hundred rpm's over the 0.73...

Been awhile since I've driven a stock 5 speed but don't remember needing any longer gearing. I suppose if you did a lot of Hwy cruising?
