Why do you say that ?
Because of the cavity where the cat use to be ( creates a disturbance of the flow ) ? I was able to do an A vs B and from the seat of the pants it was hard to tell the difference. But I am probably only in the 300- 350 max HP range with the Vitesse kit I have, and the boost I am running...

Second... because it's smaller in terms of area it won't flow as well.
Third... because of the disruption to the gas flow caused by the hollow cat.
Put it on a dyno and you'll see the difference.

Interesting, news to me. The problem for me (street guy) with the test pipe is that that it rusts away to nothing here in the midwest. The factory setup has downsides but both of mine are gutted cats and virtually no rust. I happen to have a test pipe, it is paper thin if anyone wants it....;] Bruce

Interesting, news to me. The problem for me (street guy) with the test pipe is that that it rusts away to nothing here in the midwest.
