I have a 1988 944 Turbo S, and I am trying to repair the sunroof mechanism. I have found that there is a part that is damaged in the drive mechanism that needs to be replaced. It is listed as the "sunroof lifting arm" part #944 564 535 00. It is the white plastic arm where the drive cable is connected to the motor. I have also found that this piece is very difficult to source. I have tried just about every online retailer with no luck. If anyone knows where I could find one new, or second hand, please let me know. PM or email (MEbbert77@yahoo.com)
