Default $12 and 12 minutes, what a difference

I changed out the sparkplugs in my 88 Turbo. The car had started stuttering under full boost. Now smooth as butter
Ive had the car now for abotu 1.5 yrs and it has been trouble free. I searched until I found a great example. She had 78,000 miles when I bought her and she just turned over 90,000 tonight on the way home.
The interior looks like she just rolled off the showroom floor, and the exterior is in great shape with just the usual stonechips up front.
A few oil changes, an a/c recharge, and the sparkplugs have been all she has needed.
But I do owe this to the two previous owners who were **** about keeping the car in great shape.
As I have owned the car I have collected a few parts to work toward moving the power up but nothing crazy. I would like to wind up around the 300rwhp range but keeping the boost near stock levels.
I have the cat delete pipe, new high flow exhaust, 5 Bar FPR, and new wastegate. I know, or maybe I dont, that the K26/6 is the bottle neck and need a new tune. I would like to use the Rogue A tune and have him do a KLR chip to control the boost. i really do not want to go manual boost ****. I have looked on ebay for a K26/8 and the people on there must be smoking some good stuff based on the prices I have seen. So guys what do I need besides what I have already purchased to get where I want to go?
Thanks for all the great help. As a side note the suspension and brakes are well sorted with the car already upgraded to the M030 suspension by the previouse owner.

Nice job! Nothing like a well tuned car perfect in every way.

Won't get you anywhere near 300 even with 26/8, and 5 bar fpr? You're smoking the eBay stuff too.

Good morning.

sounds like a nice ride lane...glad your enjoying it!

In order to make that kind of power at near stock boost levels you will need more turbocharger. Or...try those parts with a good tune and crank up the boost to 17psi with the stock turbo. You will notice a HUGE difference.

I think you meant 3bar FPR?

You can get close to 300rwhp but not at stock boost.

Good morning.
I guess you don't remember John Steven's white car before he put the Vitesse stuff on.

Thanks for the replies guys. Yes I did mean 3 bar FPR...guess I need to wear my glasses when I type. I should have been more clear when expressing my desire about the boost level. I would like to keep the boost at a liveable level. I do not want to be constantly in the engine or replacing headgaskets....etc. Based on that what boost level would I need to be at if I stay with the K26/6 or is there a better turbo choice that I could use and reduce the boost a couple of pounds. Reading on here it seem the Rogue tunes seem to be doing a great job for guys. I guess I have been a little confused on turbos. It seems I read where the 26/6 dies after like 5k rpm and limits the car. If thats not the case and I can make the desired power then I dont want to change something simply to change it.
So in the end I am open for suggestions.

Thanks everyone!

ok, you've got a couple choices for a turbo

a 26/8 will put you real close to 300whp at 18psi but you'll need a maf kit.
a 27/6, t3/t4 50trim - 57 or 60-1 will also get you to 300rwhp at 'safer' boost levels on 93, but most of the guys will say 18psi is ok on pump or if you've got e85.

Look at refresh951's posts he's right under 350rwhp with a dbb 50trim, mtune, wg, and a test pipe.
