I would think I could use the crank sensor and add a sensor at the trans input to calculate the diff...

We had one of the guys from motec at the track with us for a whole weekend, there may be a workaround, we have yet to find it, you can't mindread the drivers foot. We decided we need a better driveshaft for the best solution, I'm working on that...

You guys have left me behind in the dust. You're on your own from here on in. :-)

I don't really see how middle shaft twist would cause issues with a TC setup. It must be something with how the Motec algorithm is created.
In essense TC should work only by comparing wheel speeds between driven axle and non driven axle and adjust power delivery to get within a defined slip range.
In real life this will be extremely difficult to get done in a good smooth way with a high powered 4 cylinder turbo engine. For an 8 cyl N/A engine with DBW it should ve very easy though as you can just start cutting some of the cylinders alternatively to to reduce power smoothly. Very hard with turbo engine.
I've also been playing with a sophisticated TC setup (2 different manufacturers) and haven't been able to get it run smoothly. So I'm also running without.
With that said I haven't had the need in dry. To me it's a wet thing. Even with 750+ hp traction is good when you got the tires and the aero.
