Default A-tune or max chips

So I'm in the market for new chips to get the most out of my exhaust upgrade and my K26/8 swap in, Over the years I've used a bunch of chips, Mostly on my old 924S, started with FRWILK chips, Then max944 chips, now my 951 started with autothority chips from the PO, I installed a set of 951max chips when I did the LR instant rear wheel HP kit...... Now I'm debating if I should go with the A-Tune setup or get a reprogram on the Maxx chips, What do u guys recommend, Does A-tune support higher then stock boost levels?? What setup makes the most HP?? Just seeing what you guys have experienced, Thanks

Atune uses 3d timing, is upgradable to MAF, uses a map sensor, had over boost protection. There is no comparison between the two.

What's the over boost set at?? How aggressive is the fuel and timing maps?

Interesting. I didn't know A tune had overboost protection. Must have missed this in the literature while researching. Thanks!

Pretty sure Joshua can set the overboost protection to whatever level you want if you tell him ahead of time. Keep in mind that you'll probably run out of injector if you're aiming for 18psi on the stockers.

The addition of the MAP sensor and 3D internal maps make the A-Tune an absolute no-brainer over the other AFM chips on the market. Part-throttle driveability is massively improved.
