Will these wheels fit?
Looking at some used speedline rep. wheels. My car is an '86 therefore, early offset. the wheels in question are as follows:
Front: 18 x 8 ET 52, Tires 225/40/18
Rear: 18 x 9.5 ET 47, Tires 285/30/18
By my calculations, (52-23 & 47-23) I would need 29mm and 24mm spacers.
Is this correct and can anyone verify if this combo would work on my early offset car?
I did try search, but couldn't find info for these exact sizes. Thanks.

I'm running 285/30-18s with 15MM adaptecs in the rear. 6MM in the front. I wouldn't use math to order the spacers. Use large washers on 3 of the studs until the tires fit well. Measure the thickness of the stack and place the order.
Same offsets as yours.

Sounds like they will fit then, just need to do the washer trick.
Ted: So, no need to roll the fenders then? The 285's must look awsome on your car! Where did you purchase the adaptec spacers?
Thanks for the replies.

Ditto on adaptec. No fender rolling. When I first installed the wides, I thought it looked a little like a clown car. I have no need for 285 on 10.5s, but they just look right, to me.
Now when I see pictures of it with phonedials, I cant figure out how I liked it so much.
BTW, I did have to move the ebrake cables inboard a hair to clear the backside of the tires.
