Default Vacuum check valve(blue and black valve) routing?

I'm trying to sort out this mess, and the lindsey diagrams doesnt help me:

http://www.lindseyracing.com/LR/Parts/VACDIA.html

This is a stock 89 car with the cycle valve.

I am assuming the blue side of the valve is going to the canister (Next to battery) and firewall ports, according to this diagram, is that correct?

Just blow in the valve to see which way is which. Air should be able to move towards the brake booster.
