Default Picking up a project car

So i found a 88 951 up the street from me in poor condition and i dont know what to offer him. Heres what i have found so far.

-Rust in the rockers
-needs paint
-interior
-Exhaust leak(checking the manifold next time i go)
-possible boost leak
-no ac(owner says bad compresser and the heater door stays open)
-driver seat stuck(funny story to follow)
-needs new pass. fender
-PS tank leak and oil leak from cam cover

Ok so I took it for a drive and the seat was stuck way back and im 5'3, so after i figured how i was going to work the clutch i was off and got on a back road by my house. When i put my foot down(wot) in any gear at any rpm the car shuttered and almost died but other than that it felt good no gear box issues but could use a new clutch.

The owner says the car is mostly original with about 160k but the odometer stopped working. Im going back sometime this week to really dig into the car and check the rust out some more and snap a few pics to post on here. What should I offer this guy with out offending him? Also ill be doing most of the work the only thing i cant do is fix the rust.

Thanks for any help

Depends what you want it for... Are you aware of what you're getting into?

From the description, the car doesn't even sound Lart-worthy.

If it runs and drives good its easily worth $2,000-$3,000 post pics so we can give you a good price to offer.
