Default Relocating air filter

The previous owner removed the stock airbox from my car, and installed a cone filter where the box had been. That's pretty stupid, as the air going into the turbo is already very hot.
I've been thinking about relocating the filter inside the fender, but then i would have to get rid of the AFM j-boot. Does anyone make anything that would replace the boot, giving the AFM a better angle, which would allow me to make a pipe go into the fender.

some people just cut the end off the boot that goes to the turbo and clamp a straight piece of pipe to it towards the fender.
