Bilstein escort cup issue

Just went from KW to Bilstein and I find lower shock mount isn't stable on the rubber insert. If it wasn't for the washer and the safetywire it would slide right off. The deal with the spacers on the end in the pic is because the shock bolts are from KW which has it's own system to keep the insert in place and so the bolts is a bit longer.

If it is going to slip off the bushing, either a large OD washer or a tie-down. +1 on using the correct/factory lower bolts. Ran bilsteins for years (10+) w/o having a problem.

I suspect the bushings may not be the same hardness as they were but I'll see how it turns out with the correct bolt and even thicker washer.

Jason, everyone but you is correct. Use the stock bolt, or send them to bil;stein to turn them into monoballs, and get the Racer's Edge lower mount bolt. I never had the slightest problem, and to the best of my knowledge, after 5+ years, the current owner has not had a problem either.
