Default 245-50-16 on a early offset

I know this has been debated a couple of times, but is anyone out there running this size on early offset without any issues.TIA

i've got 245/45 r16 on my 86.

you're suppose to go with a smaller profile when going wider tires. 225/50 r16 to 245/45 r16 because the height increases with the width of the tyre. just find a tyre calculator and punch in a few different sizes to see what i mean.

Pauly I did look at the tire calculator. The problem is that it's becoming to difficult to find these 245 45 16. I'm in between the Nexen 3000 ad the sumitomo HTRZ. 245 50 16 has a lot more choices.

Rob, I'd like to see your 225/55/16s as a point of reference. Thanks,

Rob thanks for the pics. I'm actually thinking if it's worth it to go 245-45-16. I think the stock 225 50 16 will be enough on my 8's (Fuchs). Thank you

Rears are Yokohama ES100 in 245/50/16 on Fuch 16X8 early offset wheels.
Fronts are also Yokohama ES100 in 225/50/16 Fuch 16X7s..
No rubbing even under intense load
