Worked this weekend organizing my garage. Also got new florescent lights hung. I have a few projects planned for the summer. Be great to see some other 951 garages.

One of my clients has 3 RUF cars and his garage is amazing. Clean, cool, but also very functional. I got a lot of great ideas from him. For many years when my kids were little we did not even have a garage. These past few years it has been a great place for me to unwind and I am thankful that we have it.

I like, was at zerMATT951 garage yesterday to look at some 951 plumbing. First thing when I walked in was "Matt, dude, your garage is air conditioned!" and four cars wide. I need to get going.

Not as clean as yours, but hopefully soon I will get some shelving and paint up on the walls as well as the garage floor coated:

The 993 C4S is being replaced with a 993tt - the 951 will keep it's place.

Darwin - Clearly the most important element is in place. The garage looks like it has a lot of potential.

Just bought this house in December.....so haven't done much with the barn out back. 4 cars wide with a walk up attic. Oh....and the 12ft ceiling will be perfect for my car lift

Shawn- Love your garage, especially with the work shop off of it. Those florescent lights work wonders. I wish my 2 car garage was one wide door. I'll get a picture or 2 after I pick up my car this afternoon.

Sorry to crash a 951 party -- I'll delete the thread if anyone thinks this is too far off topic. But I've got my Porsche in a two-car garage that I did a lot of work on. It might be a good resource for guys here looking to put a shop together -- especially if you're limited to a small place. I did everything myself, from the sliding-door cabinets up top to the ceramic tile down below. My shoulders still remember digging out the hole for the hydraulic lift. Pretty much everything in the place is second-hand, repurposed or home-made.

Benches fold down from the wall:

It looks nice cleaned up, but it's a working garage:

It's got its own website:

http://www.12gaugegarage.com

And it's got a video, too.

And there's about a hundred pages of documentation on it all at this link.

I was feeling pretty good until NOW. I now realize I live in a shack in a 3rd world country. Dude, that is an awesome garage. Thanks for posting. Looks like I have some work to do...

Love this, a lot of great ideas: http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/s...t=55006&page=1

I'd post pics of my garage but it's pretty much a disaster. Who'd have thought it would be this easy to fill a 3 car garage? Between the cars, the lawn mower, my son's bike, scooter, and various "outside" toys, the Harley, work bench, toolbox, air compressor....

This summer, I'm buying a shed for the back yard. Yard work, gardening stuff, and kid crap are being booted to the shed. Garage will have cars, Harley, and tools. That's IT! I'll post pictures then.

Jack, you didn't crash the party but you probably ruined it...

That's stunning.

Jack. Love it. The lift is awesome. Can you give more details on the lift system as to what it is and the installation?

Holy crap Jack, that place is cooler than an icebear's nuts in an arctic snow storm...

And certainly a great inspiration too, especially since I'm just in the process of planning a refurbishment of my own garage, which is about the same size and shape as yours... Taking notes, taking notes...

I really like the combination of a great workplace and a cosy porsche logoed man cave...
