Default How many sensors on a 1986 944 Turbo exhaust?

I have two sensors on my exhaust (1986 944 Turbo). One is on the passenger side where the header flattens out, and the other is on the drivers side. The driver's side (I'm assuming oxygen sensor) is connected, but the passenger side sensor is not connected to anything. It looks like the wire was cut and I don't see a loose harness anywhere nearby. I have a Lindsay MAF and chip. My car has been this way for 6 years and never had a problem passing state emissions tests.

I wonder if this 'extra' sensor is just a plug for what used to be a EGT or wide band meter (I sure hope so, I'd like to add those gauges)

That is a test port that is used to put in a sniffer to adjust emissions. It had a tube that went up behind the cam at one time. Most people cut the tube off near the port and crimp it over. You can screw off the nut and put on a lug nut to cap it or get one of these.
