Sorry, are you saying you got a complete custom 3" system including M/flow muffler for $250??? That guy isn't running a hot rod shop, he's running a Charity!!

I got my catback 3" exhaust made for $150 at a local Big Al's
Seems it's cheaper if you get others to do it than go through a vendor lol

3 " Lindsey exhaust with a Magna flow. Sounds nice but exceeds the 90 db limit at Road Atlanta on Sunday mornings.

That is a big concern of mine as I am often at Lime Rock where they have a similar noise restriction which is enforced ruthlessly.

Do you run a resonator or just a test pipe instead of the cat? I am wondering how much more quiet it gets with a resonator.

As long as you run a muffler i think you will be fine at Lime Rock. I have run there with my current 3" a few times before and never had problems. The turbo really muffles alot of the exhaust noise. The cars that will have trouble are mainly n/a's running straight exhausts.

Cat delete and just the muffler. It's a dedicated track car.

I was at Atlanta Motorsports Park last week and they were taking sound readings to be sure no one was exceeding the 98 db limit there. My 951, with a 3" exhaust and just a Magna Flow muffler, no resonator, registered 94 db. Hope that helps with Luigi Vampa's concerns about Lime Rock.

I just installed a SFR built exaust system that I bought from another rennlister, michael2e. To say the sound is intoxicating would be a understatement.
