Question "Universal" EBC?

Is this a stand alone unit for EBC or just to be used in conjuction with an existing stock electronic boost system?

I just want something that has scramble boost for the track. 9psi in the corners. Hit a button and 18 psi on the straights

Well does it look cheap or just not all the un needed bells and whistles of the $400+ units?

Looks like the company, EMUSA, makes a multitude of products for th eturbo world.

if corners are cut, chances are they're in the solenoid. poor seals or cheap materials can lead to premature failure.

Chinese knock off... lloks like they cloned a Greddy controller and added a turbo timer. Even the $180 is over priced, considdering the source sells the same thing for $100. IMHO boost controll is one place to NOT be cheap, but to each his own!

i could have told you it was a Chinese knock off with out searching on alibaba.

i wouldn't even put that in a POS. the amount of cable there is unbelievable. IMO TurboSmart eBoost Street is the way to go. $400, may be steep but it's a hell of a system. And turbosmart stand by their products!

When I looked at this thread the first thing that popped in my head was "That looks like something you'd find on Alibaba.com" Well, what do you know!

Alibaba is good for small businesses that need to source international raw goods or find a manufacturer to do small run goods to spec. Other than that, yes, it's all Chinese knock offs. A lot of women "entrepreneurs" have made some healthy businesses reselling purses, bags, etc. by marking them up 2000%.

Can you talk more about why you want this for the track?
