Default Best control arms today?

It's time to rebuild/replace the lower control arms on my '89 due to worn ball joints, and considering I run 275 Hoosiers or slicks on the front with 725 lb spring rate (high loads on the parts in other words) I'm thinking that I would be doing myself a favor if I went with proper racing parts instead of rebuilding the lame-o stock ball joint design. Again.
I searched and read plenty of posts, but some are quite old now, and I was wondering if any of the gurus out there have an opinion on who makes the best ones at this time (good, strong, well designed arms, and that I can actually get without a 97 month wait.......).
Surfing around I see Dave Lindsey lists them, along with Racer's Edge, Kokeln, etc, I just don't know which ones are the best? Yeah I know they're pricey, but so is crashing because of a broken ball joint.
BTW it's a track only car with a license plate (rarely street driven, and not far).

I have Charley Arms but I think they are hard to find these days - I researched them all a few years ago, I think they are all probably pretty comparable - they are all fabricated from steel. Racers Edge takes the suspension very seriously and are helpful via phone and email so that would be my first call, I think once they are installed it would be hard to tell a difference.

Dave,

You can still get Charley like front control arms from Tarett Engineering in San Diego. Pricing is not too expensive @ $1.6K.

If they're not Racers Edge arms then they're a copy. They're not Charlies though.
I think there's enough RE ones out there to show up any design faults by now. I'm using them happily.

Have you thought about running a set of XSChop's RX7 modified arms?

A "street" car with 275's up front? Yowza! You must've rolled or widened your fenders, no?

I recommend Blaszak in Canada. http://www.blaszakprecision.com/ . If the tubular one is too expensive, they do make a early-style stiffened steel version for late offset (not easily found on their site - you may need to call). You can request custom sway-bar pick up points, and the welds are x-rayed before shipment. And they have replaceable ball joints. And a great guy to talk to to boot!

To all: Be safe, have a good evening!

Cheers

I've got the Blaszak ones on my lowered, stiffened '87 street/track car. They get my vote.
