Default Installed my M-Tune

First off, A huge THANK YOU to Shawn (Refresh951) for taking a Saturday afternoon/evening helping me install the M-Tune. What a difference it makes with low end power. The roads were wet after install so I couldn't really get on it, but the A/F was spot on under boost. I can't wait to get it on the dyno in the next week or so. We ran into a small issue but called Joshua and he spent 40 minutes with us troubleshooting the issue, which was minor, just forgot to add a jumper in the DME. First class service and a first class product.

Did you use a 951 head for your motor?

It caused a rough idle, but the jumper fixed this issue.

I used an S2 block with a 951 head.

Chris - any Saturday working on a 951 is a good Saturday, enjoyed hangin out;

Paulyy - Issue was we were converting DME to 28 pin, which includes adding a jumper on the DME PCB. CHRIS forgot to add the jumper (or it could have been me that forgot the jumper )

Rogue really does provide great service . We called him on a late Saturday afternoon and he helped us figure out what we forgot. Once we added the jumper the car ran perfectly.

Nice. If it is dry do a butt dyno. I'd like to know how hitting boost feels vs the old maf.

The roads are dry and the car is clean. I'll be taking it for a spin a bit later and I'll report back.

Pics/ video while you're out.

(Charcoal/tan. Sport seats, LSD, Sunroof delete. 41,000 miles) = not too common round here.

Not that common is right.

No video or pictures unfortunately. Only took it over to my brothers about a mile away and didn't know I had it in the low boost setting until my drive home. High boost is 17 psi, low is 14. I knew it felt slower and when I got home I checked the maps in the EBC.

Chris,
Glad to see it was a simple fix
3psi difference I would expect to be ~50hp or so on your car - definitely a noticeable difference in power!

Power, more power is what I live for. My car is a beast and I have to detune it a bit to keep it on the street. I lowered my boost to 15lbs to stop burning up my tires. Mtune. don't leave home without it.
