Dizzy- I also had to remove my Lindsey quad 4 maf and mafterburner. Thankfully refresh951 really helped me out. Because the LR MAF removed the original plug that was plugged into the stock afm we had to rewire that to make it match up to the Mtune. We also had to splice into some wires in the dme harness. It took us about 7 hours but could have shaved 30 minutes off of that had we remembered to add the jumper into the dme after we installed the new chip and added the additional 4 pins to convert it to a 28 pin chip holder since my car is an 86. Just take your time. I helps to have a friend help you.

Thanks Chris.
mine still has the AFM plug there. It seems like the PO just spliced the maf plug and piggyback into the harness, but I have not tracked all the wires down. In theory, the output of the piggyback should be connected to the same wire that is the output of the afm plug. hopefully all that was done under the hood.
what did you have to splice into the DME harness? the map? does the map get a new vacuum line run to it? and if so, did you just tap off the klr hose?

We had to add the MAP sensor connections into DME harness per Rogue's instructions.
Also, you must deal with Pin 7 and Pin 9 as modifications were made to install the LR stuff. See the link below:

Sorry, I should have suspected the stupid e-mail bug and PM'd you instead. Anyways, All the positive feedback on the M-tune sure inspires to put in the extra hours in the garage to get the beast back on the road. Thanks.

prepped my car last night for m-tune. Pulled out the LR maf/piggyback, pulled my dme. Turns out I had an authority chip in there. The PO said that there was not a custom chip.
I think the lr maf + piggyback and authority chip probably was a great combination 10 years ago.
