Howdy from the 928 section: also a 951S owner.

Incredible attention to detail on that 928 turbo / IC plumbing. All custom work by the looks of it.
Fantastic - makes me want a shark ! Gotta love the front end of those 928's.

That was a pretty original idea to mount the turbo right in front of the transaxle, ill bet you have no problems with spool with a 5.0.
Have you ever considered turboing a regular 2 valve 928? You can probably get away with using 951 forged pistons and rods to lower the compression. 600 hp should be pretty easy to get, and youd get a transmission that wouldn't shatter into a million bbs when you dump the clutch ( like the 951 )
Very nice 951, as well

Yes I've done one before (in Houston now). 2v engines are either 4.5l or 4.7, so only the 5.0 32v have the same bore as the 951.
There are forced inducted 928's making in the upper 500's (RWHP) on stock engines, so they're strong enough for now. There's at least 1 turbo 928 (of mine, my customer) who runs 951 pistons on custom rods: strong car, makes 480rw @ 9psi I think. (67mm DBB turbo).

Well at first I just used my SAFC piggyback to tune from my old Huntley MAF to the 90mm MAF. Then I got Rogue's C-Tune with MAP based timing; i.e. full 3D tune.
Your IC is a piece of artwork!!

Thanks, I modeled it in CAD & then coardboard a few times to get all the dimensions correct. What you can't see is that it's a full upper radiator shroud as well: temps would climb w/o the shrouding. I added a Tial BOV after this photo: designed the whole thing to pull straight out as one piece.
