Laid some tools at the base of the windshield while tightening some clamps under the manifold. Inadvertently had my elbow putting weight on one of the loose tools as I did some contortions to reach the hard to get place - and cracked the windshield.

Not something I did, but it was one of those stupid things you see. Was at Jiffy Lube getting the oil changed in my wife's car. While looking out the window into the service area, I noticed a tech working on another customer's car was trying like hell to close the hood on her little economy car and it would not close, so he put all his weight into and buckled the hood. It was one of those hoods that has the hood prop located midway on the side of the hood and I guess he didn't see it and assumed it had hood struts. Customer that owned the car saw the whole thing too and she was pissed.

I also recently tried to turn my engine to TDC with the car in gear and could not figure out why in the hell it so damn hard to turn the engine.
