My best friend in the day when he had his shop, dynoed a ton way back when. I was there a lot and helped out for fun. They were pretty consistent. This is in Camaro's and Vette's though. Auto's usually dynoed around 275-280 to the wheels, and the manuals dynoed right at 300 rwhp. + 30 for intake exhaust and chip. Headers barely gave +6-10 on top of that. Consider I saw about 30-40 dyno's with those mods.
I went through 3 exhaust systems, 2 cams, 2 intake manifolds, 2 intake systems in front of the throttle body, a few rounds of custom dyno tuning.
And I've seen quite a few LS1 camaros and vettes putting out over 350-370RWHP with basic bolt ons. The problem with those cars is typically the cam. Most people don't get it right with the cam in comparison to the rest of the setup. That and the tune. Then the intake in front of the TB.
Anyway... that's old news.

With the LS1, I could hang with GTR's and LS7 vettes down the straights dragging a wing.

Here's the dyno.
This is a comparision of the LS6 as it was before the recent work.
---- Before and after done on same dyno ---
Here's t he specs:
*** BEFORE ***
2004 LS6
Futral F-16 Cam
TI springs/retainers
LS6 intake (ported)
MTI 78mm throttle body (ported)
LS1 75mm MAF
K&N air cleaner
No bends in front of the throttle body... straight shot to air cleaner
Renegade Hybrids Headers
2.5" dual mandrel bent exhaust with H pipe
Custom dyno tune on 91 octane pump gas
*** AFTER ***
Same as above except - -
FAST 102 intake manifold (ported)
FAST 92mm throttle body
LS6 85mm MAF
Mill heads .020 (61cc combustion chambers)
Fly cut pistons
Stock sized... lighter valves
CNC Port original 243 heads (RPM-Inc CNC program)
Larger Injectors
Here it is....

First off, I have a glass hood. I had to cut out the center brace. Normally you'd think this would be a problem with it flexing towards the engine at speed... but it's the opposite. The under hood pressure is trying to force open the hood. So no problems there.
Next I had to grind the front of the manifold down a little.
I couldn't use the standard fuel rail because it goes over the manifold. So that was out. That's where there are the individual fuel rails.
Lastly, I had to space up the strut brace 1/4" on each side to clear the manifold.
It's in.... but it's very tight.

Awesome. Can you give me details on what days/times you guys will be there? Is there a fee for observers? I'd love to come watch. I'm just over the hill...

Not sure if there is an entry fee to get into the track. Also, I have not been to this facility before, so I have no idea if the layout is "spectator friendly". I will be very busy with the clinic so may not have much time to chat, but feel free to stop by. I have a red Turbo S with black hood vents.

Sounds very nasty and nice -- must be an absolute blast! Kidding aside, a 450rwhp V8 will romp on a 450rwhp 3 liter turbo. The area under the curve doesn't really compare.
Robstah -- I no longer have the file unfortunately (though may have posted here somewhere). It was 4th gear on a 951 transaxle with stock diameter tires, if you feel the need to calculate the rpms...
