in the process of tuning my 951 (in my avatar)

it has:
k27/8 turbo
LR maf
LR wastegate
3" catless exhaust
stock chips (but I have an ostrich and tunerpro on the way)

I'd like to run a reasonable amount of boost (9-14), main priorities at this point are to have a bulletproof fun track car.

I'm reading that I'd want to run ~98 octane. How best to do that? add xylene to 93 pump gas? Eventually I could go e85, but that I think will be a more involved tune later.

I am tuned for 15 psi max on 93, been running that for years

You will want to get a knock counter as well. Otherwise you are missing a big part of how your engine is running...
