I did it myself, I created a fiber glass backing and used the sticky piece of carbon fiber than I used a wood drill bit to create the holes.

Are you sure? I dont know where you get your statistics from but I talked to a dealer that has been in business for 20 years back in CT Pre****sion Motor Sports and they said that there is a significant gain in power with the vented panel specially the way I have it with the stock IC duct unmolested.

Do a test. Tape some small pieces of yarn (called tufts) to the body and have a friend sit in the right seat an record the movement of the turfs at highway speed. Should come out looking something like this.
You could use smoke but I wouldn't want to see the look people would give you as you drove by with streams of smoke pouring out of the front of the car.

Good read.

I thought that by my second post about the vented panel one of the smarter guys would have caught my twisted humor, if you guys go back and read, I stated clearly that the original Intercooler DUCT is unmolested which means that the vented nose panel is there for looks since the ic flow of air comes from the same place.

924 Airflow diagram, look at the number on the car and find them on the chart, they are NOT aligned. Good read.
