Oil Pump Leak? Upper Balance Shaft?
Got a pretty bad leak, it's more like a constant oozing of oil that comes into view on the pump and dribbles down around the crank gear and onto the ground. I can't get a good view of the source while it's running because of all the whirring bits in my face but I took off the tensioner to get a better view. As you can see it puddles a bit on top of the pump there..
The path leading from the balance shaft seems pretty clean but it's hard to tell when everything has a thin layer of oil on it.

Possible the rear balance shaft seal is leaking , and dripping down, also while running with the cover off you can blew compressed air in the area to verify the leak, oil leaks are bad enough but when the oil gets on the t belt it only a matter of time when the teeth strip.

Pulled off my oil pump and nothing seems out of the ordinary. It was leaking out from the red area which seems odd, I'd assume pretty much anywhere else on it to leak before that area.
Also when you apply loctite are you supposed to go for just the shiny metal surface or coat the black too?
