Default Suggestions to upgrade from KW v3

Looking for suggestions for something more aggressive for track and with T-bar delete.

KW does not re-valve and the V3 can only go 200lbs over what it came with, so max 550F and 485R

So ideally something priced between $2500-$3500 and springs 550F-600R

ps

I've searched **cough**Reno..** and I'm aware of the options but maybe someone else is coming off v3's and has found something more aggressive and have been happy with something else

Never had V3s but my LEDA setup is pretty nice and can be valves however you want. Mine was around 4000 but I had also bought poly bronze bushings, spring plates, etc... So deduct those from the total.

Hrm, are you sure about KW not revalving? I asked them about this maybe a year and a half ago when i installed my set, also wanted to know about torsion bar delete. They said revalving would cost like $100 or so per shock if i remember right.

Anyhow for an upgrade, if you increase your budget to about $4k you can go Moton Clubsport.

something more our clubsport would be a great option for you. please let
me know if you have any other questions and have a great day.

If you are only wanting to go to 550 I would just keep the kw, torsion bar delete does not require any higher damping. Just get eibach springs(they make the springs for kw). I have a custom ordered set that came with 550 front, I went up to 850 or so and the dampers could still cope.

The clubsport Moton kit for a 944 was $5000 last time I checked (I was considering it but went with the LEDAs for the savings)

You can get a set of four Leda 24 valve adjustable for a cost at the bottom end of your budget. Call Chris White, he isn't that far from your location.

Jason
I'd also concur that I was pretty sure they could be revalved. I'll try and dig out the email I had from KW Germany. Having said that, my '2-Way' race are off the car and available for sale. They came with 630lb fronts and ran with a 28mm t-bar for 715lb rear total. We then took out the T-bar and ran with 800/915 front to rear springs. Still was very comfortable respectively and I'm sure you could dial the rates back if you wanted although I'd try this setup first. This setup would cost about $5kUS I'm guessing. I'd pass them on for $3k if anyone is interested.

i dont understand why coilovers for 951 are so much. i paid $1300 for a great set of coilovers for my evo 8 and the car was untouchable at the track. the front 951 suspension is the same as vw mk3 gti with different top hats.
