I have a Vitesse AFM Chip along with cat bypass. I have been waiting to install the Vitesse chip until I had a MBC, and 3.0 FPR. I have the needed pieces along with a aftermarket Boost gauge. I was thinking of having the car dyno'd after this to see how much power it makes as well as check the A/F. Would that be a good way to see if the tune is good on the chip?

I know that is one way to check the tune, but is it a good way to do it? I'm more of a 2 stroke guy. For that you do plug chops at WOT for a few runs then decide if you are getting the correct mixture. Would just a few dyno runs at WOT justify a good tune?

At WOT...yes. Adjust the MBC to the chip and you're done.

V-MAF+ (or M-Tune, or ?) is probably looming on your horizon...

the dyno u can check the timing and afr and on the road u can check afr with your wideband
