Default 102mm piston? suggestions?

I dropped my dry sleeved block off at my machine shop and the shop owner would like to have the pistons before he does any cylinder work. He measured the bore at 4 inches and Im not having any luck finding pistons to match. 4 inches comes out to 101.6mm, I was thinking of 102mm but looking for other suggestions and sources. I checked most vendor sites but no luck finding 102mm. I see that Lindsey has 101mm Wossner pistons, any other piston recommendations?

Nothing against Lindsey or Wossner but figured I would find more options because of the steel sleeves... no?

www.wossneronline.com. They are all custom jobs anyway. Better yet, call and ask Karl what your options are. 866-547-3756. He may have a set laying around that is either right at what you need, or close enough that you can have the bore made to fit it.

I have 101mm Mahle's available, but it doesn't sound like that is going to work for you. If something changes and it does, just let me know.

JE pistons is another option, probably a bit cheaper than the others.

JE makes 102 mm pistons for the 3.6L flat six... I don't know if that fits.

Talk to Karl at RE or Chris at 944Enhancement. They can get you Wossner pistons in any size.

You may want to see if you can bridge the gap with 101 pistons and oversized rings. You may still be in th tolerance range.

I have contacted a couple of RL vendors about this. It looks like Ill go with Wossner and Im waiting to hear back on what he has in stock. He may have a set of 101.6mm pistons that I can use. If they need to be custom ordered I have to get some more information before placing the order.
