Question for you electical folks-

When I hit the hatch switch, the hatch motor's gears no longer does a complete revolution (i.e. it does not return to the position that allows the hatch to lock). The motor just stops turning when I take my finger off the switch, regardless of how much the motor has rotated and it's position. It's supposed to release the hatch and then return to a position that allows the hatch to lock at every touch of the switch, but no more. What can be the problem?
