Question oil change

How often do you guys do an oil change ?
is it every 3000 miles ?
i add a quart every 400 - 500 miles - does this make a difference ?
thanks

One quart added every 400-500 miles is too much. You could be loosing it either from a worn turbo and/or worn valvetrain. Is the car leaving oil spots on the floor? What viscosity motor oil are you using? Try to isolate the cause of the consumption.

i edited my question. take a look!
about the consumption of oil - no no leaks.
its either my turbo or valvetrain. how can you differentiate. when i purchased my car i had it inspected. compression and leak down.

That's darn high compression for a 951. Especially with those high leak-down figures...?

Those are the compression tester readings in lbf / in which are within spec. The M44/51 engine compression ratio is 8.0 : 1.

I was under the impression that the 951 compression range was from 10 - 6.5 bar absolute
(147 - 95.55). I won't tell you where these figures come from, so that I look really smart, but I think it is safe to say that it is a reliable source.
