Dmoffitt, I have what you are missing under the hood
Its going in my 968 turbo car this winter. I think it makes more sense in a 968 anyway as it is a factory turbo RS motor (very very rare with only 4 cars ever produced). I pretty much bought the rest of the package. Between the 2 of us, we could have a complete car, lol.
Good thing is that we are no more than 1-1.5hr from each other. I am in central NJ. I am really excited about putting the RD motor with GT30 turbo and all the works. My car was no slouch before but Chris was expecting over 450rwhp at 1.3 bar with his setup. Hopefully I can get 400rwhp @ 1 bar. That would be good enough for me as I don't like running high boost on a street car.
I still remember your post when you saw the chassis on Ebay. Didn't seem like to were going to go for it.
Drop me a line if you ever have any questions.

I was actually tempted to pick up a 968 and put in my engine... but believe me there's nothing "missing" under my hood - all i have to do is plug in my crank position and speed/ref. sensors, run the vac. line from my intercooler pipe to my boost controller to the wastegate, put on the adaptors to run my oil coolers, put a new shift linkage one (or fix the one there - the nut is missing off the back) and take care of some other stuff like the line to the clutch slave, filling/flushing/bleeding the brakes, etc... and of course there's nothing in the interior but a steering wheel (no seats etc... doh). -- i will say however, best of luck w/ the 968 turbo - from what i hear chris's engine is quite impressive oh, and if you ever want to sell that tranny hehen

btw i think we're approx 5-6 hrs away, not 1-2

dmoffitt is right, definetely closer to 5-6hrs than 1-2.

You're 1-2 hours away from me Raj Maybe we could swap that old 968 turbo motor into my 86 camry eh? RWD conversion!

BTW Dfastest951, gorgeous car...

What I mean missing is the original engine. I have the engine Chris ran the car with. That is what I was trying to say.
What tranny are we talking about here?
