Is there a Difference 2.25" or 2.5" Hard Pipe kit

Is there a noticable difference between a 2.25" tube or 2.5" hard pipe kit?

yes, the bigger one fits much tighter and is harded to put on and take off, but the power of both will be the same + or -, 2 horsepower
