Post Stripping it down....

My 1986 951 came with LoJack and Installed Cell Phone. Spent good part of yesterday removing over 20 feet of shielded cell antenna wire.

I've also removed LoJack battery and gobs of unnecessary wires.

I'm down to some last items...Does anyone know the location of the factory porsche horns? I see a horn located next to the battery beside the firewall. It does not look "stock". I am suspicious this is part of the LoJack / Security system.

Do you other 951 owners have horns next to the battery? Thanks in advance! - Mark

Mark, the factory horns are located in front of the drivers front tire, behind the driving/signal light area..

Take care..

My '86 has that horn by the battery and also has the little key hole behind the driver's door for the alarm system. No Lojack that I'm aware of on it.

Cool

On my '87 "S" I've got the factory alarm and the horn is by the battery. Haven't dealt with it yet (thank God), understand it can be a PITA!!!

Be Well!!!
