Question Power steering question...

I was under the car investigating a leak, and the plastic drain plug (i'm guessing that's what it is, on the driver's side of the rack) for the p/s rack basically fell off in my hand. Anyone know if I can buy a replacement for this part or know the part #? Any suggestions on how to get whats left of the plug out of the hole? Thanks in advance

That plastic plug is just to stop dirt from getting into the inspection hole. The inspection hole should not have any fluid in it. It is only to see the center mark on the shaft. you can buy plug asortmants in many different sizes at your local auto parts/hardware store. Anything that will fit the hole will due. It is just to keep road dirt out of the rack.

Probably time for a rebuild.

There is a link to the whole process. I also sell everything you need to do the rebuild in the products section. If you have any questions about it just email me.
