High Volume Fuel Pump
What do you use when you run out of volume on the factory 951 fuel pump? Is there a Bosch unit from another Porsche application that pumps more fuel and will install relatively easily?
Also, does anyone know how the factory 951 fuel pump is rated? in liters per hour?
Thanks!

I bought the large Bosch unit from <a href="http://www.lindseyracing.com" target="_blank">www.lindseyracing.com</a>
It was recommended to them by Motec, Bosch part #0 580 254 942, have not been able to find out any flow rates, it is quite a bit larger than stock but still mounts in stock location.

I use a Weldon pump kit. It has a selector switch to regulate flow when a high volume isn't needed, pits, yellow flags etc. It will flow enough for a 1000 hp application. Might look like overkill but I'll never worry about fuel starvation at 22 psi boost running 82 lb. injectors on the track.
The downside is the cost of the total system, about $1500 with fittings, lines and filters. Good news is that you will never have to upgrade your system again.
