PRI show

I don't know how much, if any, time I'll have to meet up. Would love to be able to. (865)548-9338 if anyone wants to reach me. I probably won't answer, so best to text. Our booth is 1753, in the middle of teh west side. I'll be one of three folks - Charlie from Millers Oils, and Karl and I (Harry) from PRO. Millers will be displayed prominently. @PerfRacingOils for those that do the twitter thing (I'm trying to figure it out, myself).

I'm going as a guest of Performance Developments. They have a booth there (1743) with the Link-Vipec EFI systems. Anyone who wants to look at a really good EFI system for 944's and talk to Neil about engines, should stop by.

I'll be there too and would be glad to meet up and talk EFI. We've had excellent success with 944/968 EFI systems, using Vi-PEC engine management. One of the systems we did was featured in the October 2011 issue of GT Porsche Magazine, I wish the article was available online but its not. But here's a thread on that car:

So PRI week is turning out to be as interesting as always. Last year a bunch of us rented cars and did a night time DE at palm Beach International. This year I got an interesting call about tuning a race car. I am off to Saint Kitts for an all expense weekend tuning up a race car!

Now that makes the week worthwhile. There is something to be said for holding the show in Florida and not in Indy.
I wish I could stay longer but I can only be there until Thursday afternoon. As a guest, I have the privilage of been there on Wednesday when there is only exhibitors. I'm hoping to see as much as possible without alot of other poeple there.
Without appearing to be promoting anything, I recommend anyone who is going to stop by the Link-Vipec booth and see the new Knock warning device. An incrediable little inexpensive device that will save alot of 944 engines in the future from breaking. Knowing how these engine fail with detonation issues, this little device is definitely somthing to consider. Well worth the look, and just passing along the headsup.
At least this is one booth that speaks 951.

Very cool. I just sent my contact info to autokurl if he wants to coordinate the meet. I would, but my finals started this week so my mind is elsewhere right now. I'm going to try and go see the karting event (that one is open to the public, right?) tomorrow night if I can work it into the schedule.
