pretty sure the only original "wear" parts on my car are the torsion bar bushings...~100k on body, on 2nd transmission, engine rebuilt at 65xxx miles, torque tube rebuilt this year. everything else replaced within the last 6 years.

lol my car is stuck at 151k right now after leaving Josh's.
I've gotta look at my gas receipts... I have a pic from last saturday showing 977xx miles. I need to figure out the mileage from then plus the trip down.
- Car still has the original suspension, but that will be done by next march and I've got some headliner stuff to work on. The car's been solid otherwise.

159k on original engine, tranny lost 2nd gear at around 130k and was replaced with a LART special, been through many koni sports and power steering racks before switching to manual rack. currently needs oil pan gasket.
before this 951, i had a NA 944 which i got rear ended in at around 209k.

My 1986 has approaching 92,000 miles now.
The car likes Fall weather. It thinks it is back in the FatherLand.
A few weeks back it had to do daily driver duty for over a week as my sons car was in the shop and he was using my truck.
Then the 951 got all buffed and detailed for about a week and entered a big car show a couple of weeks ago. It won First Place in the Sports Car , uhhh
"Furrin" Sports Car Class that is.
Last weekend the car performed track day duty out there racing with some 300hp cars and some 400 hp cars and some dedicated track mules too. Gave a good account of itself. After I had to be stopped by the Texas DPS for no front license plate. No tickets just a warning.
I then cleaned the P car back up and took my wife on a 1980's crusie and dinner in it.
In a few weeks the 951 will run a Hill Country run and car show too.
You can scratch around on the other Water Cooled 944 and 951 forum here and see some pics if you wish.

165k (0 in the last 2 years...)
Original engine as far as I know. Replaced the rod bearings and they still looked great at 165k. Trans was swapped at some point. Don't know anything about the car other than what I've done to it.

35,630 miles on my 89 Turbo S. Original drive line, well developed race suspension [no rubber, 1000# springs and appropriate related bits].
Its been a dedicated race car most of its life.
