Post Tec3

The new Tec3 should be at my door on Friday. Anyone else installing one soon?

keep us up to date on every step. I'd be very interested to hear how it compares to an sds install.

Yep, the TecIII is 'sort of' shipping. Unfortunately the first production run has a bug in it and there will be a short delay. I have several units on order and I am anxiously awaiting them!!
If you give the folks at electromotive a call they will ship out your sensors, harness, coil pack and all hte other goodies so you can get started. The ECU will follow shortly. If anybody wants to share information on installation and set up let me know. I am a lot more active on the mailing list but now that I know there a some TecIII guys here I will stay tuned

Chris is correct about the Tec3 bug. They have recalled all shipped units for a 'minor' repair. Good news is that there is supposed to be a new update which will be added as well.

Got my crank sensor fabricated and waiting on the unit.

Hopefully those interested can keep this thread going as 'Tec3' Should be helpful to those installing one and those contemplating an install.
