Default Intercooler Hose Coupler Size?

I am in the process of supercharging my S2. I have a stock 951 intercooler that I need to order silicone coupling hoses for.

I have read threads here saying that 2.25" is the correct size (57mm), but the actual OD of the intercooler connection (excluding the beading) is closer to 60mm. Other posts suggest 2" hoses are required (which seems odd). Can anyone confirm the correct coupler size please so I can order these.

Thanks

Well that's what I was going to do, except on other posts I have read that 2.25" was a little loose, even though smaller than measured IC pipe. Go figure?

The LR ones are 2.25".

+1 on the 2.25" hoses. There is actually a bit of a step, but the 2.25" hoses work fine. When you order, make sure you tell them you want the standard 3" lengths if that's what you're expecting. Trust me, they'll pass along bottom of the bin crap and charge you full price for it.........

Id 2.25x3 Length, the factory units are merely 1.5 inches , so anything over that will work, but yes 3" is the standard size but I know people that can do custom sizes, here are some samples I have seen
